| Audio conferencing |
The
codec is used to to connect an audio call and
requires the customer to install a POTS line
at the codec location. This line terminates
in the codec and once connected the audio will
be transmitted
through the plasma speakers. The microphones
(up to 2) sent with the codec will be used
for input
and will be located on the table provided by
the customer. These lines will not be run through
a core
or fished through a wall. An optional ceiling
audio package can be purchased in lieu of this
configuration. |
| Video conferencing |
The
video codec is used with an integrated camera
that mounts to a wall on a shelf.
Hardware is included to integrate
the VTC via an IP connection. The video is
displayed on the plasma
screen. The far site will be the main picture
and the near site can be previewed in a PIP
window.
A scan converter allows the user to display
a VGA source to the far site in a video call.
Audio will be
transmitted through the plasma speakers. |
| Local presentation |
A wall plate with terminal
points is included to allow a direct connection
from one of the following sources at any
given time:composite video with stereo audio,
S-video with stereo audio
or VGA with stereo audio. The end user
must switch inputs on the plasma using
the remote depending
upon the source selected.
