BT Conferencing Introduces Automated Self-Service Video Conferencing
On January 18th, BT Conferencing announced its Automated Self-Service Video Conferencing offering. As a leader in providing traditional hosted video conferencing services, BT Conferencing has expanded its end-to-end solution offering to include automated self-service, which promotes ease of scheduling and call automation. This application also provides a lower cost benefit to users of multipoint video conferencing services, which responds to market demand for cost-effective conferencing solutions.
By using engageMeeting Manager, BT Conferencing’s web-based scheduling tool, customers are able to schedule conferences for automated launch, or initiate meetings with on-demand access. The easy to use interface is accessed with a few simple clicks of the mouse, and gives users the ability to verify room availability, and quickly manage conferencing resources.
“Customers today require flexibility in service solutions – applications that make their lives easier, and provide streamlined, cost-effective methods for conducting business,” explains Dan Connors, CEO of BT Conferencing. “Our Hosted Video Conferencing Services address these needs, and also provide the customer with simple automated self-service tools for managing the process.”
With EPC, BT Conferencing has enhanced Automated Self-Service scheduling and auto-launch features for point-to-point calls, allowing users to experience benefits similar to those associated with bridged conferences. When using EPC, customers also have the advantage of gaining insight into point-to-point conferencing, as usage data is stored and reported along with multipoint video conferencing data.
Automated Self-Service Conferencing gives customers the advantage of setting up their own video conference meetings quickly and reliably with easy to use tools, and the flexibility of accessing BT Conferencing’s professional team of conference producers when special requirements occur. Meetings that require BT Conferencing conference producers to launch the call and provide additional assistance are always available with a variety of options, when required.
As an example, Producer Assisted service is available for customers who want more technical expertise and support for their conferences. In conjunction with this, BT Conferencing has also introduced High Definition video conferencing, which expands the Producer Assisted portfolio of services. For customers who require an even greater level of full-service support, BT Conferencing’s Custom Production service is accessible and provides specialised services for high priority conferences, or large-scale events.
“Video conferencing technology has experienced an accelerated rate of advancement and adoption by organisations over the last 2 years. It is now a reliable business tool that can increase worker productivity, reduce costs and protect the environment,” said Ben Hobby, Region Vice President, International Sales for BT Conferencing. “The launch of automated video services moves one step further to making it more easily accessible for participants and drives down costs, whilst maintaining a quality meeting experience.”
