As we move through the first few months of 2008, it is clear that the same market drivers that accelerated activity in 2007 are at work and continuing their momentum in 2008. These forces are improving the quality of our communication experience and also creating more awareness for video based communications. These market drivers are:
- Technology upgrades — High definition broadcast/displays and transition to converged network
- Immersive rooms — Cisco, Polycom, and Tandberg
- Managed services — Creating more reliable and cost effective solutions
- Environmental focus — Choosing communications over travel in favor of the environment
BT Conferencing continues to lead the market in implementation of these technologies and services, and through the efforts of our sales and services teams we will continue to work with our customers to assist in these implementations.
In upcoming newsletters, we will be highlighting examples of each of these market drivers and how they are shaping communication experiences.
