BT Conferencing continues to enhance our current offers to ensure seamless service to our customers. We are working on tighter integration of our current Streaming offer with our BT Conferencing tool sets enabling our customers to have streamed events available in several formats (VCR, CDROM, Web).
Q4 and the Future:
For our Q4 ‘07 and forward strategic roadmap, we have several exciting enhancements on the agenda. For Conference Services we are defining an Outlook integration map for our engageMeeting Manager tool. We will also be creating an enhanced High Definition ASP offer for our Managed Services portfolio.
ASP recording of video conferencing events is a key component to the delivery of critical information to associates that cannot attend live events. BT Conferencing will be upgrading our recording capabilities to allow recording services for web deliver of captured events.
In the Managed Service space, we will be developing capabilities for management of several new devices. Additions to our Bridge/Device Management portfolio of products will include Polycom RMX bridge, Codian Gateway and Tandberg Gatekeeper.
REM (Remote Equipment Monitoring) is a critical component to uptime of critical video conferencing devices. We will be enhancing our REM capabilities to include a site outage website for customers to get a quick look at potential outages before scheduling video calls. We will also be adding the ability for customers and BT Conferencing to schedule outages for room maintenance purposes.
Within our Product and Product Services area, we will be developing a managed service offer for our One AV program. This offer will include such things as monitoring of AV components, support and management of room components including strategic staffing as part of the offer.
The BT Conferencing Professional Service portfolio of services continues to grow. In Q4 and beyond we will be adding enhancements to our standard Strategic Staffing offer to include pricing and support for requirements of less than one year. We will also be working on the development of a network consulting offer. This offer will include network evaluation, network recommendations, assistance with implementation and network monitoring.
The Streaming Q4 roadmap features a managed service element. This offer will provide customers a service where BT Conferencing manages all aspects of customer streaming requirements from capture to delivery. Key components for this offer will be event capture, monitoring, archiving, management and delivery of captured events.
