Remote Equipment Monitoring Enhancements
BT Conferencing’s Remote Equipment Monitoring (REM) service supports video conferencing equipment from the top manufacturers in the industry. We are pleased to announce the addition of the following devices to the list of products supported by REM:
- Endpoints:
- Polycom HDX
- MCUs:
- Codian 4500
- Codian MSE 8000
- RADVISION viaIP
- RADVISION INVISION
- Gatekeeper:
- TANDBERG
REM proactively monitors video conferencing elements. This monitoring is done via the BT Conferencing Onward platform, and provides stability and uptime for the video conferencing infrastructure. REM determines when devices become inoperable or unavailable. Devices that can be monitored include:
- Endpoints
- Routers (router interface only)
- Gatekeepers
- Gateways
- Select MCUs
Key components within BT Conferencing’s REM service include configurable alerts, automatic trouble ticket creation and proactive customer notifications. With REM, you'll be able to proactively target any problems and solve them, ensuring conferencing participants remain focused on the meeting's content and goals rather than the technology involved.
