Your Best Source for High Definition Conferencing
Over the next several months, BT Conferencing will release support for high definition (HD) multipoint conferences. This will enable your HD endpoints to conference together using BT Conferencing bridging infrastructure.
Initially, support will be for conferences with all endpoints use IP and are HD-capable. These conferences require that every endpoint support the HD standard and be connected over IP. As the year progresses, we will add enhancements to the service such as:
- Meet & greets
- Dedicated operators
- Recording
- Streaming
- Transcoding
- Continuous presence
- Mixed ISDN and IP calls
By the end of the year, you will be able to connect all your sites into a single call and have each site participate at its highest possible resolution. Our goal is to maintain the quality and reliability you need to ensure your users get the most out of their video conferencing experience. This will help you to drive up usage and to decrease costs.
