VUE Forums a Great Success in 2006
Over the course of 2006, BT Conferencing hosted seven VUE (Video User Experience) forums across the country. Locations ranged from New York City to San Jose California and points between. VUE events provide attendees the opportunity to interact and network with their conferencing peers, learn about the newest developments and influence the strategic direction of the collaboration industry.
Each VUE event featured an educational session on a variety of topics including ISDN to IP migration, high definition video conferencing and in-house vs. outsourcing managed services. Andrew Davis, from Wainhouse Research, attended the event on Managed Services and provided an analysis on BT Conferencing’s offering. Click here to read the report.
Attendees were also treated to a live demonstration of BT Conferencing’s web-based video scheduling and launching tool, engageMeeting Manager. Another program highlight was the Partner Technology Showcase featuring Polycom, TANDBERG, Codian, RADVISION, Masergy, OnStream, AVTEQ and LifeSize. VUE participants were able to see the latest in video conferencing equipment, view high definition demonstrations and communicate directly with the industry’s top manufacturers.
Over 180 individuals attended the 2006 VUE events; they overwhelmingly agreed that VUE forums are a great opportunity to network with other users of video, learn about best practices and how to maximize their video investments.
