BT Conferencing will be participating in multiple ways for this year's PUG - Polycom User Group conference. The Polycom User Group (PUG) was founded in 2002 as an independent, global organization focused on providing an educational and peer networking vehicle in the conferencing industry. PUG produces an annual educational conference and product showcase during the September/October time frame. The conference provides attendees the access to sessions from industry leaders, tutorials on various industry topics, and a large exhibit hall where alliance members and Polycom demonstrate their products and services. This year's PUG conference takes place October 22-25, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
At the conference, Jere Richardson, BT Conferencing's Vice President of Managed Services, will be presenting twice to event attendees. The first presentation, "How to Choose a Managed Service Provider," will give attendees insights into the relevant questions and qualifications for choosing a services partner. The second presentation, "Schedule, Manage and Analyze Your Video Conference Through engageMeeting Manager," gives an overview of engageMeeting Manager, BT Conferencing's conferencing scheduling solution.
In addition to the presentations, Richardson will be part of the Managed Services Panel. The panel will be held on Monday, October 23 from 9:30 -10:20 AM. Representatives from video conferencing users and providers are panel members. Some of the topics to be covered by the panel include:
- In what situations does a Managed Services solution make sense?
- In what situations does a Managed Services solution not make sense?
- What elements are necessary to ensure a Managed Services solution works successfully?

In addition to the presentations, BT Conferencing will have a booth at the conference, and is sponsoring two meals during the conference. The booth will feature demonstrations of the engageMeeting Manager solution, company and services information and more.
