Wire One Communications to Participate in the GSA's Networx Universal Contract as Part of the Qwest Team

MIAMISBURG, OHIO– April 23rd  , 2007 – Wire One Communications, the largest provider of visual communications solutions and the leading provider of managed video services, today announced that it has been selected to serve as a member of the Qwest Communications International team that was awarded a stake in Networx Universal, the largest communications services contract in the world.   The Networx contracts, worth as much as $48 billion over the next 10 years, will offer leading-edge voice, data, and video services to all U.S. federal agencies. Qwest is among a few select companies that the GSA has approved to provide communications services to civilian, defense and intelligence agencies, including 1,800 sub-agencies.   Wire One will be providing video conferencing hardware and bridging services for the Qwest offering.
